Dress suitably

I usually wear trousers so, for me, choosing a suitable dress for my figure and skin tone, can be a challenge.

I often take inspiration from Kate Middleton – I love the way she and her stylists choose simple looks but still manage to keep it chic and classy. 

If you read my blog about Bazaar jackets, you’ll know that I like to feel comfortable in my clothes so I tend to pick the material first – I employ this same methodology when picking dresses. Whereas jackets can be more comfortable being worn loose, a dress needs to be contoured to your body shape in order to create that classy and chic effect Kate Middleton manages time after time.
